Sources close the the couple say they are fine
Rumours have been rife that Hollywood couple Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffiths are on the verge of divorce but the sources close to the couple denies any trouble in paradise.
“They seem absolutely fine. Honestly, they seem happy,” a source who saw them together recently tells WHO Magazine.
Speculation of a rift began when Banderas, 51, was spotted getting cosy with a mystery blonde in Cancun when he flew over to promote a new hotel.
Photos and videos have also appeared of him dirty dancing with actress Mallika Sherawat, 35, during the Cannes Film Festival this year.
Griffiths, 54, was spotted in Los Angeles last week sans wedding ring which added fuel to the fire surrounding their marriage.
She has also attended numerous events solo, such as the Munich Film Festival earlier this year, and without her ring.
A second source also denies any tension saying, “[Antonio] is in Budapest filming and they’ll be together again as soon as he’s done.”
This is not the first time reports of trouble between the two have surfaced after the actor told AARP magazine, in September last year, that the couple “have had as many problems as anybody.”
