Behind the scenes at Grammy Awards: Jay-Z pops champagne, Katy Perry’s massive cleavage and more!

From boozing, bravado and the backstage after-party, here’s what the celebrities REALLY got up to…

The main reason why 80% of celebrities turn up to swanky award ceremonies is for the free booze and after-party. And good on them, that’s exactly the (alcoholic) spirit we moderately encourage.

Plus, when the evening entertainment is Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Justin Timberlake performing LIVE then we don’t need more encouragement to RSVP ASAP.

And it was no different at the Grammy Awards last night with famous types mingling with each other.

But there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than the red carpet arrivals and decidingwho is the best (or worst) dressed of the night.

We spotted a trend from inside the Staples Center where the 55th annual Grammy Awards were being held last night.

The first thing is that Jay-Z is without doubt the coolest man on the planet but apparently he would also make a pretty decent barman.

Jay was with his wife Beyoncé – you might have heard of her, she did a bit of singing last week at the Super Bowl – alongside pal Justin Timberlake and his other half Jessica Biel.

And naturally, the champagne and cognac was flowing. We wouldn’t want it any other way. Incidentally, Justin dressed up in a tuxedo and ditched his Shirt & Tie. Talk about shoddy promotion for his new single.

And he’s probably the only person attending who could look cool in those socks and shoes combination.

The second thing of note is that despite knowing she’s one of the hottest women in LA-LA-Land, people couldn’t hide their shock when staring at Katy Perry and her massive cleavage.

Elton John’s eyes nearly popped from his face when he saw Katy’s bust, while Ellen DeGeneres was even more amazed.

Take a look behind the scenes with our third eye view of the Grammy Awards.
