Alicia Etheredge-Brown was rushed to Orlando hospital after the incident occurred in the couple’s hotel room.

“The report that my wife was rushed to the hospital is true,” Brown tweeted Saturday afternoon. “She is recovering and in good spirits. Please keep my family in your prayers.”

The news of his wife’s seizure came just weeks after Brown decided to check himself into rehab for his addiction issues.

The singer was admitted to a medical centre in the US earlier this month following the sudden death if his ex wife Whitney Houston back in February.

Bobby’s new bride Alicia Etheridge confirmed the singer’s release by stating the her husband had “graduated” from the programme. She added: “We are supportive and proud.”

The former ‘New Edition’ singer, has openly battled alcohol abuse issues for years and was reportedly seeked professional help, less than eight weeks after his second marriage to his manager, Alicia Etheredge.

Brown has five children, including his 19-year-old daughter with the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown, who has also been allegedly using drugs since her late mother’s passing.

In March, only a month after Houston died, Brown was arrested for DUI in March after being pulled over for allegedly using a mobile phone while driving.
