Charlize Theron on parenting son Jackson (minus her potty mouth)

We’ve always loved Charlize Theron for her sleek blond beauty. And the way she talks like a sailor.

Think of her beautifully executed turn as Mavis Gary, the foul-mouthed lead of last year’s “Young Adult.” While Charlize isn’t actually evil, she’s never been shy about expletives. So is she censoring herself now that she’s got adopted son Jackson at home?

“I don’t need to judge myself right now,” Theron told MTV News, “…[Jackson] doesn’t understand anything right now, and so he just wants my face to look a certain way.”

So how is she taking advantage of this early cognitive phase? By blending both worlds. She owns a copy of the hit children’s book “Go the [Heck] to Sleep.”

“A lot of people have sent me these children’s books, and there’s this amazing book, a best-seller [called] ‘Go the [Heck] to Sleep.’ This book was fantastic for me,” she said in the clip below. The book, which tells babies to go to sleep and how to get there, even has an audio version narrated by actor Samuel L. Jackson.

Theron is still making the rounds for “Snow White,” which costars Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth. At the end of the month she’ll release Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus” with Michael Fassbender.
