Daytime Emmys 2012: Full list of winners

The soap opera earned major awards for the night including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Anthony Geary. “General Hospital” is owned by ABC, the parent company of OnTheRedCarpet.com.

A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Bill Geddie, Executive Producer of “The View,” for his 30-year television career and contributions as a writer, producer and director.

Regis Philbin also received a few awards for his final stint as host of “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly.” The show won awards for Outstanding Talk Show and Philbin and Kelly Ripa won Outstanding Talk Show Host. Regis Philbin, who is 80, left the ABC daytime talk show “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” in November 2011 after hosting various formats of it for more than 28 years.
