Festival Fashion – The Hottest Looks From Glastonbury 2013

It’s that time of year again, when a normally quiet and peaceful corner of Somerset gets overtaken by screaming guitars, a sea of tents and thousands of music-loving festival-goers. A lot of the headlines relating to Glastonbury 2013 have been about the bands and artists performing, as well as the weather, but we’ve got our eye on the fashion on show at this year’s festival instead.

Festival Fashion – The Hottest Looks From Glastonbury 2013

Let’s take a quick look at some of the hottest looks of Glastonbury 2013. After all, there are plenty of festivals still to come this summer, and you might need some style inspiration!

Bomber jackets

Bomber jackets have been all over the catwalks recently and they were all over the site at Worthy Farm too. Celeb fans at Glastonbury 2013 include Cara Delevingne, who teamed an outrageous, brightly patterned bomber with a pair of black skinnies and round sunglasses, and Kate Moss, who went for a more grown-up sophisticated look in a sheepskin lined brown leather bomber jacket.

Floral headbands

At this year’s festival, far and away the most popular accessory was the floral headband. Everyone was wearing them, the boys as well as the girls. We spotted Caroline Flack, Millie Mackintosh and Katherine Jenkins with flowers in their hair, but you can also add hundreds of other festival goers to the list. If the weather is good and you want to nail the hippy chick look at a festival, it seems the accessory to turn to is the floral headband.

Wide-brimmed and floppy hats

Along with floral headbands, hats were all the rage at Glastonbury 2013, with wide-brimmed and floppy hats being the most popular choices. Sienna Miller and Rita Ora went for floppy hats, whilst Alexa Chung plumped for a gorgeous red wine coloured wide brim hat. Whichever style you choose, make sure you do remember to take a hat to a festival – it will keep the sun off your face (and the rain!), hide unwashed or tangled tresses and pull your whole outfit together.

Cute cross-body bags

Nearly every female celeb photographed at this year’s Glasto had a cute little cross-body bag, some like Katherine Jenkins and Peaches Geldof choosing a bag with a chain strap, whilst others like Poppy Delevinge opting for an adorable, satchel style cross-body bag.

Crop tops

Crop tops, as well as being a huge hit on the catwalks this season, were also big at Glastonbury, both on and off stage. Rita Ora chose a flattering and ladylike lilac bandage-style crop top teamed with a matching high-waisted pencil skirt, whilst Iggy Azealia went all-out in a revealing printed white crop top and high-waisted micro shorts combo.

Micro shorts

Whilst previous Glastonbury’s have been all about jumpsuits, playsuits and onesies in general, this year one of the hottest look of the festival involved micro shorts. In some cases, micro micro shorts. Millie Mackintosh went for a black leather pair, teaming them with a black crop top to show off some toned tum, while Peaches Geldof wore a pair of miniscule denim cut-offs
