The ‘Turn Up The Music’ singer was reportedly leaving the Westlake recording studio in LA on Sunday night where he had been listening to music by one of his artists, when he is said to have gotten into an argument with ‘Channel Orange’ singer Frank Ocean and his entourage over a parking space.

Sources have told TMZ that it was Ocean who started the brawl as his crew “blocked” Chris from trying to get to his car. The eyewitnesses claim Ocean said: “This is my studio, this is my parking spot.”

Apparently, when Chris went to shake Ocean’s hand, one of the Odd Future singer’s friends attacked Chris. One of Chris’ friends is then said to have “jumped in front” and hit Ocean on the head. The situation is said to have escalated when Ocean reportedly “came at Chris” who “pushed [Ocean] away”, before both groups began brawling.

According to the website, police were called to the scene but Chris had already left the studio area by the time they had arrived. The officers did speak to Ocean but neither parties want to press charges and no arrests were made.

Shortly after the brawl, Frank addressed the situation on Twitter blaming Chris for the incident. “Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys lol. I only wish everest was there,” Frank tweeted, before adding: “Cut my hand now I can’t play with two hands at the grammys.”

Chris and Frank have a history of rivalry – in July, Chris was forced to deny making a homophobic slur towards Ocean, who revealed he had fallen in love with another man just a couple of months later.
