Justin Bieber apparently hasn’t fully recovered from being accused of fathering Mariah Yeater’s baby.
Yeater, the 20-year-old woman who filed a paternity suit against the pop star and later dropped it last fall, has inspired the song “Maria,” which was leaked online earlier this week.
In the song, which seems to be an homage to Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean,” Bieber calls out Yeater, singing, “Mariah why you wanna play me like that / That ain’t my baby / That ain’t my girl.” Listen to the single here.
The single opens with several news bites about the baby mama drama, including Bieber’s interview with Matt Lauer on the “Today” show, where he stated that he never met Yeater.
Yeater claimed that she and Bieber, who would have been 16-years-old at the time, had sex backstage at a Los Angeles concert in October 2010. She gave birth to a baby boy in July. Yeater dropped the paternity suit after Bieber underwent a DNA test to prove he wasn’t the father.
After disappearing from Twitter following the backlash she received from millions of Bieber fans, Yeater returned to the social networking site on June 14 to re-Tweet some hateful Tweets and write, “i made @MTV – [expletive] you’re making me famous!”
The song will reportedly appear on Bieber’s upcoming album “Believe.” Several other songs off the album were leaked early, including “Take You,” “Fall,” “Right Here” and “Beauty and the Beat.”
Bieber has not commented on the leak. His album “Believe” is slated to hit stores on June 19.
