Royals were out in force for the annual ceremony
It’s been a busy few weeks for Britian’s first family but that didn’t stop them greeting thousands of wellwishers with big smiles and royal waves at today’s Trooping The Colour.
The Royal family were reunited as Prince Phillip joined the Queen for his first major event since he was hospitalised during the Jubilee celebrations. The Duke of Edinburgh looked pleased to be back, saluting the troops from his carriage whilst the Queen brightened up the dull weather in canary yellow for her official birthday celebrations.
Meanwhile Kate Middleton took her place beside Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry. The Duchess of Cambridge chose a gorgeous silver-grey Erdem dress and Jane Corbett hat for the occasion, while Prince Harry looked dapper in his military uniform.
The brother and sister-in-law looked like they were having fun with Kate spotted laughing at Harry’s commentary on the events. Meanwhile Kate looked on proudly as her hubby Prince William and his father Prince Charles travelled on horseback in traditional bearskin hats as part of their military roles in the parade.
