Looks like the battle isn’t slowing down
Kim Kardashian’s lawyer has allegedly blasted the reality TV queen’s estranged husband Kris Humphries as a liar, in their ongoing divorce battle.
According to TMZ court records show Laura Wasser, the Keeping Up With The Kardashianstar’s legal representative in the dispute, branded claims by the NBA star’s lawyer Lee Hutton that he wasn’t on a mission to “blow the lid off reality television”, as a lie.
The site claims legal records show Kris has threatened to ruin the 32-year-old’s career and “expose” her, unless he gets an annulment or a large monetary settlement. Kim and Kris tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in August 2011, but split just 72 days later with the athlete claiming the brunette entered the marriage fraudulently, for TV ratings not love.
Wasser reportedly claims Kris’ lawyers threatened her saying: “The Kardashians or Bunim-Murray [producers of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’] do not want that to happen.”
She also claimed 95% of the deposition questions placed to producers of the reality TV franchise were about Kim’s TV show, rather than their relationship with a series of questions about the production of the episodes.
The site also revealed that Kim’s lawyers questioned Humphries’ insistence that he can’t deal with the divorce case during basketball season, claiming Kris has “plenty of days off.”
It comes only weeks after pregnant Kim appealed for the divorce to be settled quickly, before she gives birth to her baby with current beau Kanye West in July.
