The 26-year-old singer posted a link to the ad on Twitter on July 18 to promote the perfume’s September release. Lady Gaga is pictured wearing nothing but a face mask and parts of her body are covered with strategically placed miniature men. The singer also holds the bottle for the scent in her hand.

The photo was shot by photographer Steven Klein and the singer Tweeted about being hesitant to share the work with fans.

“I won’t lie I’m a bit nervous. its been a while since I’ve shared some work with you,” She Tweeted. “But I’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!”

Lady Gaga also posted a link to a short film created about the fragrance called “Formulation.” The short, which can be seen below, shows muscle men working “From the Haus Laboratories in Paris.”

The film calls the perfume “the first of its kind in fluid technology” because the perfume appears black in its bottle but becomes clear when applied. The video claims it is the first black “Eau De Parfum” and the shade is “Black like the soul of fame but invisible once airborne.”

The scent is made of “pulverized apricot, crushed heart of tiger orchidea and tears of belladonna.” Lady Gaga does not appear in the film. The singer credited Todd Tourso, Reggie Know, Rob English and Kenneth Robin as working on the short.

Lady Gaga also Tweeted a photo of the bottle for the fragrance on July 7. “Photo from Haus Laboratories of Le Masterpiece FAME: the premiere edition my fragrance,” she wrote. “Cap is solid metal not plastic.”

She also revealed there will be two versions of the fragrance available, an inexpensive version to be sold for $30 and a larger bottle, which she calls “Le Masterpiece,” for “over” $70.

In June the singer announced she will also reveal the name of her new album in September, possibly around the release of the scent.
