Venue Ideas for Throwing a Bachelorette Party

Throwing a successful bachelorette party requires careful planning. Make it an unforgettable night with some of these fun and unique venue ideas!

When it’s your job to plan the bachelorette party, you take on a lot of responsibility. You need to find the right location, plan out activities, handle the guest list, and maybe even complete extra tasks like planning a menu or booking the entertainment. For some, a bachelorette party can be as simple as cocktails, party favors, and their entertainment of choice, but your bash doesn’t have to fall into those cliches. Here are some fun and unique venue ideas for throwing a bachelorette party that will make the event unforgettable.

Spa Day

Not every bachelorette party needs to be a big blowout that goes late into the night. Planning a wedding can be incredibly stressful, and sometimes the best thing you can do is just give everybody a day to relax. Planning a spa day for the guest of honor could be just what the doctor ordered.

The bachelorette crew can get massages, mud baths, pedicures, and other relaxing treatments while enjoying each other’s company. Many spas also offer healthy drinks, saunas, and plenty of opportunities to let your worries melt away and hopefully remove any wedding jitters.

Boat Party

One of the more common challenges of hosting a bachelorette party is finding a venue where you and your friends can have a little bit of alone time to let loose and take advantage of the space. Instead of renting out a hall or a restaurant, why not try a party boat?

Many boat rental companies offer pontoon boats, which have large flat decks that are perfect for eating, dancing, and all sorts of other activities you can enjoy while out on the water. There are even some fun games you can play at a bachelorette boat party, so get creative and let the exciting and unique setting make it one memorable party!

Wine Tasting

Another excellent venue idea for throwing a bachelorette party is to take the standard options and put a classy spin on them. Just because people may expect alcohol during the party doesn’t mean you need to hit up a night club or go bar-hopping.

Instead, you can enjoy a more sophisticated time with your friends by attending a wine tasting event. Many wineries and breweries offer ways to sample delicious wines and other craft beverages. At the end, you can all vote on your favorite wines and order some bottles for everybody to share as the party continues.

Glamping

If your group of friends is more outdoorsy, consider planning a glamping trip. Glamping is a type of camping where you can enjoy the fun and beauty of the wilderness but with many of the modern comforts and conveniences of a fine resort or hotel.

Renting a cabin for the bachelorette crew to stay the night, sharing stories, and taking part in the glamping site activities could be just what everyone needs. But remember, if you plan the party for the night before the wedding, make sure you camp close enough to the wedding venue so everyone will make it to the event on time.
