Stuart Lynn Dunn has been ordered to stand trial on felony charges of stalking actress Mila Kunis and violating a restraining order, a judge has ruled.
In May, the 28-year-old man was arrested outside of a Los Angeles gym the actress frequents, more than three months after he was nabbed for allegedly breaking into her home. He was detained on a $150,000 bond and later pleaded not guilty to a stalking charge and an additional count of stalking in violation of a restraining order.
A judge ruled on Wednesday, June 13, that there is enough evidence to warrant a trial for Dunn. He and Kunis have not commented about the matter. Dunn is due to be arraigned on June 27.
Police said he visited Kunis’ gym three days in a row to try and make contact with her, according to a statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com, which cites her real first name – Milena. .
In January 2012, he was arrested and charged with trespassing after allegedly breaking into Kunis’ home in West Hollywood to try and meet her. She was not home at the time.
Dunn pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of unauthorized entry of a dwelling and was ordered to stay away from Kunis for three years and put on probation. He was also detained and hospitalized for evaluation.
Kunis, star of “That ’70s Show” and movies such as “Friends With Benefits” and “Black Swan,” was one of several female celebrities targeted in a nude photo scandal last year. The man suspected of hacking her and other stars’ emails pleaded guilty to nine felony counts and faces a maximum punishment of 60 years in federal prison. He is set to be sentenced on July 23.
