Rumors of a feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey seem to have been confirmed with a secretly-filmed expletive-filled fight during “American Idol” auditions.

In the video, Minaj and Carey are shown butting heads during auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 2.

Before Minaj was announced as a judge on the series, it was reported that Carey was unhappy with the plan as she didn’t get along with the rapper. Carey responded to the rumors, “How can you feud in two days? I think a feud takes a little longer.”

In the video, which was obtained by TMZ, Minaj yells, “If you’ve got a [expletive] problem, handle it. I told them I’m not [expletive] putting up with her [expletive] highness over there. Figure it the [expletive] out. Figure it out.”

Carey does not take the insults lying down and yells back, “Oh why, why do I have a three year old sitting around me?”

To which the 29-year-old rapper replies, “I’m not gonna sit here every [expletive] minute to have you come down and harass me every minute every day.”

Mariah went on to blame Minaj for the 42-year-old singer not being able to see her 1-year-old twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe.

“I can’t see my kids, because you decided to act like a little crazy [expletive] and go all around the stage,” the 42-year-old singer yelled.

“Good. Go see them now,” Minaj replied. “Go see them now, you’re boring as [expletive], you’re boring as [expletive].”

FOX had no comment on the video.

“Idol” host Ryan Seacrest commented on the fight on his radio show “On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday morning explaining that it was “a very heated, intense argument towards the end of the day after a contestant did a little bit of a performance in the room.”

Seacrest, who was not in the room at the time, said that the argument “did go too far” and added that producers wrapped filming that day, when there were still a few contestants waiting to audition. They will resume Charlotte auditions on October 3.

Though it is unclear what started the fight, Seacrest said that Minaj is more focused on what is popular on the charts, while Carey has that “legend status.”

Fox officially announced on September 16 that Minaj and Keith Urban signed on as “American Idol” judges and would join Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey for the next season.

According to Deadline.com, the platinum-selling rapper reportedly signed a contract that is rumored to include a $10 million to $12 million salary. Meanwhile, Urban is said to be earning around $3 million to $5 million for the gig.

The new judges come on the heels of the departures of former judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez at the end of last season. Lopez and Tyler joined the series in 2010.

“American Idol” season 12 is set to premiere in January 2013. Watch Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey’s argument below [Warning: contains strong language].
