Rapper is currently recovering in hospital
Nicki Minaj is just one of Lil Wayne’s close friends, who have visited the sick star in hospital after he was admitted following a number of seizures last week, and while his current state has remained a mystery, Birdman has claimed that Weezy will be “home real soon”.
The Cash Money Records boss has been at Lil Wayne’s side, as was American Idol judge Nicki Minaj, who visited the rapper at the weekend.
The Young Money CEO is currently being treated at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital, and despite reports suggesting that Lil Wayne had been put in an induced coma following his admission last week, Birdman tweeted: “My son is in good spirit..feelin much betta…be home soon.YMCMB”
He then added: “My son is feelin Good.will be home real soon.YMCMB”
Mack Maine has tried to clear up rumours that emerged this weekend, tweeting: “Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love
“We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe…that’s false!!”
While Lil Wayne himself tweeted: “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.”
Nicki was seen visiting Weezy after spending an hour by his side at 9pm on Saturday (March 16).
