The star paraded around in a skimpy graffiti-styled number…
Nicki Minaj took to the stage at the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam last night (18 June) and was looking on top form as she paraded around in a skimpy graffiti-styled number, teamed with Minaj-esque high tops and pattered tights.
Nicki recently spoke out about the controversy surrounding her recent ‘Summer Jam ‘ issues and her ‘pulling out’ of the festival – but the ‘Starships’ singer showed morning radio presenter Peter Rosenberg (who famously dissed Ms. Minaj live on the radio!) that he was well and truly missing out, as she put on a show to remember at the Netherlands gig!
Nicki has since spoken out about what exactly went on, saying: “After all this has been said and done, I wasn’t gonna do ‘Starships’ and I think people know that. I’m way smarter than that.”
The wig-wearing superstar then added: “I know what people wanted to see. I think it was just someone trying to be sarcastic, but like every other artist said, it was horrible timing, it was in bad taste. Everybody makes mistakes, but you’ve got to own your mistake. When you don’t own it, then you feel like you can do this in the future and get away with it.”
The artist then finished up by adding that she “didn’t want an apology.”
Eurgh…can’t we all get along like one big ‘hip-hop’ family, guys??
Meanwhile, the rapper has also been added to the BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend and is set to put on yet another amazing performance, alongside the likes of Jay-Z, Leona Lewis, The Maccabees and Kasabian to celebrate the upcoming London Olympics.
We can’t wait – it’s set to be one hell of a show!
