President Barack Obama knows when it’s time to be serious on the job, but he also knows how to joke around in the White House — and this adorable candid pic posted on Dec. 19 is the perfect example!
The Commander-in-Chief made sure to take time out of his busy schedule to joke around with one of his staffer’s kids one morning in the Oval Office.
President Obama was caught in Spiderman’s pretend web, and the leader of the free world played along like a pro — he even feigned being scared and trapped!
The photo was taken by White House photographer Pete Souza, and was posted to the president’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
TIME’s Person of the Year
The cute photo came the same day at TIME magazine’s annual Person of the Year issue was released — and they named Barack Obama its their person of the year for 2012!
“He’s creating a new allignment, a kind of a realignment that Ronald Regan did a few years ago,”Rick Stengel, TIME’s Managing Editor, revealed on the Today show on Dec. 19.
Rick has also had the opportunity to interview the president, and revealed his overall attitude is productive and optimistic — and said it will mean a positive progression for America.
“He feels like he has this new political capital now, and I think that we will start to see him talking from the heart,” he added.
At least the person of the year still has a sense of humor!
