Rihanna & Nicola Roberts Battle It Out For Cleopatra

Rihanna & Nicola Roberts

Both pay tribute to the late Elizabeth…

The

late Elizabeth Taylor’s portrayal of Cleopatra in ‘Cleopatra’ is a timeless icon image. And singers Rihanna and Nicola

Roberts must think so too as they’ve both been spotted wearing jumpers with her highness’s face on them.

Nicola showcased ‘Cleopatra’ at London Fashion

Week. She kept it simple and paired the long sweater with a pair of black fringed boots. But maybe it’s a bit too simple, as

Nicola doesn’t seem to be wearing any ‘bottoms!’.

Accessory-wise, she accompanied her outfit with a black quilted

chain bag and a pair of oversized gold earrings. Her makeup had also be stripped down to the bare requirement by sticking to

the usage of basic lipstick and subtle eye makeup. By using red lipstick Nicola has added modest splash of colour to her

monochrome look, and by using minimal extra additions Nicola has made the Cleopatra imagethe main focus and we love

that!

Rihanna too had gone with a monochrome theme with her outfit, with the majority of her accessories following the

colour scheme of black and white.

But as well know, RiRi likes to do things big. So opposed to Nicola’s modest tribute

to Elizabeth, Rihanna had gone all out and wore a jumper with multiple large prints of the actress’s face.

Rihanna

continues to do things big by teaming up the elaborate jumper with an ankle length black jersey skirt, unusual shaped

sunglasses, and split cream and black shoes. We especially love Rihanna’s delicate indirect reference to Egyptian times by

wearing a hefty snake and pyramid chain necklace.

We’re sure Elizabeth would approve of both girls styles choices, but

which one of them looks better? You decide!
