Robert Pattinson Says He’s Too Old To Play Edward Cullen In Another ‘Twilight’ Movie

Rob says they ‘might recast’ him in a sequel. Would you see a ‘Twilight’ movie without R-Patz?

Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) epic love story may be timeless, but Rob says his career as Edward Cullen definitely has an expiration date. ”I’d be curious what Stephenie[Meyer] would write,” Rob said Feb. 17 at the Bel Ami photo call during the Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin. I would think I’d be too old [for a sequel]. I’m already too old. It might be kind of interesting — they might recast me.

Yes, you read that right. Rob officially hung up his fangs when he finished filming Breaking Dawn, Part 2, which hits theaters this November. To be fair, if Stephenie did write a sequel, Rob would be significantly older by the time the book made its way to the big screen. You can’t play a teenager forever!
