Snooki has officially chosen a name for her baby boy.
The “Jersey Shore” star and her fiance Jionni LaValle have reportedly chosen to name their baby “Lorenzo” when it arrives, according to USA Today.
It was Snooki’s “Jersey Shore” female cast members who first revealed the news by accident, the newspaper reports, and the couple later confirmed the name.
Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, first confirmed to fans that she was expecting a boy back in May and back then she claimed the names were down to Lorenzo and Jionni Jr. The 24-year-old reality star first announced her pregnancy and engagement to boyfriend Jionni LaValle in March.
She told MTV News recently that although she is going to have a baby soon, she is not in a rush to head down the aisle.
“I definitely don’t want to get married anytime soon, I don’t want to rush everything and get married just because I’m pregnant,” she said. “I want it to be very special, because I’m only getting married once, and this is the guy.
“You might as well have the baby and then get all looking good again and then have a wedding and have the baby in the wedding,” she added. “I want to make it very special.”
The “Jersey Shore” cast recently finished filming the show’s sixth season in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
Snooki currently appears on the series “Snooki & JWoww,” which premiered on June 21.
