“The Hunger Games,” “Vampire Diaries,” Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift were among the big winners at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards on July 22, 2012.
Swift picked up her 20th surfboard at the ceremony, the most ever won by a female artist.
“I just feel so honored that I get to have you guys in my life,” a beaming Swift told the crowd.
“Twilight” stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner also attended the ceremony to pick up the franchise’s batch of boards for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1.” The awards included the ultimate choice award, the teen-fueled show’s version of a lifetime achievement award.
The show was co-hosted by Demi Lovato, who nabbed the “Choice Twit” award for her Twitter account and Choice Summer Music Star: Female.
“Glee” actor Kevin McHale also served as host and his show picked up Choice TV Show: Comedy. His co-stars Chris Colfer and Lea Michele also won Choice TV Actor: Comedy in the male and female categories.
