N-Dubz star claims it ‘should have been Fazer’
X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos might be a star now but the singer has opened up about her difficult past, revealing she lost her virginity to a drug dealer at just 14 years old.
The singer found fame with band N-Dubz, but claims if she hadn’t she would most likely be living a “rough” life in her new biography ‘Honest’ according to The Sun.
Tulisa recalls in one extract: “I had too many boys too soon. I regret losing my innocence so early. If I hadn’t been saved by music, I’d most likely be living with a drug dealer on a rough council estate.”
Speaking of her virginity the star admitted she had become sexual at a young age after becoming involved with a drug dealer she refers to as Jono.
“After about eight months, Jono drove me to a little bed and breakfast hotel,” she explained, “before I knew it we were alone in a room. I just went with it, knowing that I was about to lose my virginity, and knowing what a big deal that was.”
Tulisa insists though she was looking for love and now regrets the way she went about it.
“Despite my street-girl persona, I was totally into the idea of fairytale romance,” she said.
“I wore my heart on my sleeve and I was ready to give my all if I thought I was going to get love in return.”
The star went on to open up about her on off relationship with fellow N-Dubz star Fazer, claiming she wished she had waited to lose her virginity to him.
“All the time I was on and off with Fazer, he really wanted us to have sex, but he was a gentleman about it,” she revealed.
“And now I’d given myself to someone else. I very much regret this now, and I wish that Fazer had been my first, but it wasn’t to be.”
