NEW YORK (AP) — Billy Porter, who plays a drag queen on Broadway in Kinky Boots, will be next be doing a little something more traditional — he’s putting out a CD of musical theater standards.

Concord Records will release Billy’s Back on Broadway on April 15, a 10-song album that includes Don’t Rain On My Parade, ”Luck Be a Lady, ”I’ve Gotta Be Me and Everything’s Coming Up Roses.

Porter, the newly crowned Tony winner, will also sing a medley duet with Kinky Boots composer Cyndi Lauper of Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy, made famous by Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland.

The CD’s release, which is Porter’s third, will also mark his one-year anniversary on Broadway in Kinky Boots.
