The 26-year-old sported a thigh-skimming LBD while also wearing a large and fluffy trenchcoat for a nocturnal outing in New York City.

Adding another layer of sartorial intrigue was a pair of shiny New Balance trainers strapped to the Bajan beauty’s feet for the evening walk.

Even more disconcerting was the Stay singer’s choice to wear dark sunglasses out in the nighttime streets.

Pinning her dark locks into a messy bun, Rihanna looked to be in a chipper mood as she crossed a busy Big Apple intersection.

And her good vibes may be the lasting effect of a recent trip to a more tropical climate the star recently returned from.

Last week, the beautiful Barbadian returned to her native country to attend the christening of her baby cousin Majesty.

At the ceremony she looked very different to usual racy pop girl attire, donning an elegant soft pink dress.

In a recent Instagram photo, Rihanna dubbed herself ‘Aunty OhNaNa’, followed by a flurry of social media postings proudly showing off the adorable tot.

The christening followed Rihanna wrapping up her month-long tour with Eminem. Early last month the duo kicked off their Monster Tour with a sell-out show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is among the latest victims to have nude photos leaked as part of the Apple iCloud hacking scandal.

Two topless images of the singer appeared online via 4chan and Reddit early on Sunday morning while American actress Amber Heard was reportedly one of the hardest hit celebrities, with more than 50 nude snaps of her surfacing.

It comes as a huge wave of leaks continued over the weekend – with nude photos of Kim Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Bosworth being released.
