Liberty Ross is reportedly calling it quits with husband and director Rupert Sanders.
Ross, a 34-year-old model and actress, filed for divorce on Friday, January 25, in Los Angeles, according to People magazine. The couple has two young children, Skyla and Tennyson, and Ross is seeking joint custody. She is also reportedly asking for spousal support and attorney’s fees.
News of the filing comes months after actress Kristen Stewart issued a public apology to Robert Pattinson for her “momentary indiscretion” with 41-year-old Sanders, who directed her in the film “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Ross also appeared in the film playing Queen Eleanor, the mother of Stewart’s titular character.
The apology came before Us Weekly published photos of the Stewart and Sanders kissing and embracing.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Stewart had said at the time. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Stewart and Pattinson reportedly reconciled after the incident and Stewart has signed on to reprise her role in a “Snow White and the Huntsman” sequel.
