We’ve been witness to the drama of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s rocky marriage for years now.
Ever since they got together — while both married to other people — they’ve allowed cameras to chronicle their every move — good, bad and ugly.
Well, things are really ugly right now, since Dean is coming out of a cheating scandal that nearly ended their marriage and Tori is in the hospital and feeling down.
Here’s where we stand with the Spelling-McDermotts, who are now filming Season 2 of the train wreck that is True Tori:
Tori is cryptically Instagramming — from her sick bed
She captioned this photo with a note about not being able to rely on someone. We’re not exactly sure who that someone is, but we have a few guesses…
This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I’ve finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori
Meanwhile, Dean is defending his bad behavior
Dean, who’s also battling drug and alcochol isuues, says he’s not the monster people think he is, telling ET Canada that he’s not the first guy to cheat on his wife.
You know, when you’re at the checkout and you look over and you see one of these magazines and it’s like, ‘Dean McDermott’s a monster,’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’m not a monster, I’m a human being and I messed up. I messed up and I’m owning up to it and I’m getting help. But to label me a monster or evil is very hurtful. … You know, I’m not the first person to ever cheat on his wife. The affair was more about how I was feeling about myself than having an affair.
He also clarifies those Ebola rumors surrounding Tori
Everything is OK. All the tabloids are reading Ebola and it’s not. The show we’re shooting is obviously very emotional. It’s six days a week. It finally caught up with her and took its toll, so she has bronchitis, sinusitis and pneumonia and she’s getting great care at the hospital.
