Singer release first dates in Europe
After a lovely long bank holiday
weekend, here’s something to cheer up the rest of your four-day week as Lady Gaga has announced her UK tour dates.
The singer has confirmed details of two UK shows
as part of her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour. Gaga will play at the Twickenham rugby union stadium in London on Saturday,
September 8 and at the Manchester Arena on Tuesday, September 11.
Her Irish date will see the singer perform at Aviva
Stadium, Dublin on Saturday, September 15.
Support for all the singer’s European shows will come in the form of
recently reformed The Darkness, with Lady Starlight joining Lady GaGa for shows in Europe, Australia and New
Zealand.
In a statement, Gaga told fans: “The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular
stage.”
“The Born This Way Ball is an electro-metal pop-opera; the tale of the beginning, the genesis of the
Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”
It is believed that Gaga will announce
additional European dates to meet the expected high demand later this month.
