In the words of that Cliff Richard song, it’s a “time for giving” and that’s exactly what Beyonce has done

Everything about this photo is picture perfect

They’ve been very careful to keep their first child, Blue Ivy, out of the spotlight, but occasionally Beyonce and Jay-Z allow us a teeny tiny peek at her loveliness.

And what better time to feed us celebrity starved minions with a titbit of their fabulous life than at Christmas, when it’s tradition to give to the less fortunate.

So, Beyonce has posted a couple of pictures on tumblr of her wee daughter Blue.

The first shows the yummy mummy holding her baby on a boat, with a stunning coastline in the background.

Despite the fact we can’t see their facial features (which is presumably why she’s allowed it to be shared), it’s still obvious that mother and daughter are gazing into each other’s eyes in a way that makes us need a hug from our own mum.

The second picture shows Blue’s tiny little foot and leg and is dated September 7, so we’re assuming there’s a little more podge on it now.

If Beyonce could share a more updated one that would be nice, as our favourite baby legs are when they’re around a year old (which Blue is in January), because they have more baby wobble on them and are totally biteable.

Yes, we eat babies.
