Family have reached an agreement…
Bobbi Kristina is reportedly set to inherit a windfall of $20 million from the estate of her late mother Whitney Houston, after executors reached an agreement over how the youngster is to receive the money.
The 19-year-old was locked in a battle with her grandmother Cissy Houston and her aunt Pat after they attempted to put a stop to the original payment schedule, claiming those close to Bobbi would take advantage of her fortune.
According to TMZ, the executors have now come to an agreement similar to the original payment plan which will see Bobbi receive the money in three segments. Bobbi can expect three large payments, the first 10 per cent when she turns 21, near 20 per cent when she turns 25 and the rest when she hits 30.
It was revealed just a few months after Whitney’s death in February at the age of 48, that Bobbi was the sole beneficiary to her estate.
Bobbi is currently engaged to Nick Gordon, who Whitney took in as a son when he was 12, and the pair are currently starring in the family’s new reality show, The Houstons: On Our Own.
In the first episode of the show, Bobbi and Nick were forced defend their relationship, saying their romance “isn’t incestuous.”
However a question mark has been raised over the couple, after her aunt Pat revealed that she never took their engagement seriously.
Talking to E! News at their reality show press junket, Pat said that the couple “are friends, they will always be friends.”
