Emeli Sande gives Noel Gallagher the middle finger via Twitter after his ‘granny’ diss

Noel said Emeli made ‘f***ing music for grannies’, so you can’t blame her for responding in an equally offensive manner

We’re having a little chuckle at this because we always like a celeb spat, especially when it involves someone coming back to some pretty harsh words with the aid of humour.

The rather large and wrinkly gob that belongs to High Flying Birds frontman Noel Gallagherhas been spewing some rude stuff about other people, because that’s what it does pretty well and it gets him a bit of attention everyone’s entitles to their own opinion.

He seems to have a bit of an issue with two very popular, current, female singers and recently told The Sun: “You look at the ‘best’ now. Paloma Faith? Do me a favour. Who’s f**king decided she’s a star?

“Emeli Sandé? That is f**king music for grannies. I don’t get it.”

Which is quite strange really because Noel’s not exactly a spring chicken, so we thought he’d understand it if that’s the case.

Anyway, the totally un-granny like Emeli, who is clearly doing something right because she just won two Brit Awards, has responded with a simple, “Thanks Noel,” on her Twitter page along with the following picture.

Yeah we love it too. So come on Paloma Faith, it’s your turn now, not that we’re trying to encourage fighting of course.
