Fans Slam Bobbi Kristina’s Reality TV Show ‘An Embarrassment To Whitney Houston’

Fans have hit out Bobbi Kristina’s reality TV show, The Houstons: On Our Own, with one branding the show, which followes the life of the late Whitey Houston’s daughter, as “an embarrassment” to the singer who tragically died earlier this year.

The show, which aired on the Lifetime network in the US last night, saw Bobbi and her mother’s family, including her grandmother, Cissi visit Whitney’s grave as well as Bobbi breaking the news to her family that she is engaged to Nick Gordon, her ‘adopted’ brother.

In worrying scenes, Bobbi was seen drinking alcohol underage, with her aunt commenting: “She’s not at drinking age.”

Unhappy with the show, one fan took to Twitter and posted: “#TheHoustons are an embarrassment to Whitney”, whilst another fan commented on the social networking site:

“Bobbi Kristina needs prayers for strength and clarity, not a reality show! #TheHoustons.”

“What if they bring shame on Whitney’s name? Is now really the time for a reality TV show? I can’t. #TheHoustons”, one viewer tweeted.

Concerned that Bobbi could follow the same path her mum went down, another viewer posted:

“I just hope Bobbi Kristina doesn’t loose herself like her mom did, real talk. In life you gotta learn from mistakes around you #TheHoustons.”
