Scarves can complement your outfit and keep you warm. The earliest scarves were used by ancient Rome where it was called Sudarium- meant to keep the head clean. The versatility of scarves like woolen scarves is that they can keep warm during winter and cool during winter.

Come winter with its freezing temperatures and you get ready with gloves, hats, scarves and ear-muffs. Head scarves can also be worn as neck scarves as well as adornments at the waist. In fact, there are many different styles to wear scarves: you just have to think out of the box and be original.

Mentioned below are some stylish ways to wear scarves:

Tight wrap: When you want to tie your head scarf around your neck, you can try different ways to style the scarves. You can make it up in a ‘tight wrap’ around the neck by tying all around without any extra material dangling downwards, which produces a cozy and warm fit. This style looks wonderful especially when you are outside since it is tied up and kept secured around your neck without billowing in the wind and adding to your discomfort.

Muffler: This is another great way to style your scarf. This is similar to a Tight Wrap except for the fact that it is not wrapped all around. Just open up the headscarf all the way and keep the middle at the backside of your neck. Now hold both ends and wrap them once or twice around round your neck (depending on the length of your scarves) and leave some extra portion of the scarf hanging down your chest. This style does wonderfully well when you are outside, and you can tuck in the extra material beneath your coat. It can also be worn well indoors if you want to stylishly keep warm.

Knot: A different and fun way to style your head scarf for your neck is by tying it in front of your neck, in a bow or a knot. This style can be worn, outdoors, indoors or to simply embellish and outfit.

Loop tie: This is similar to the Knot. Just take an oblong head scarf and crunch it to take the shape of a thin, long rope. Fold it into half and place the centre around your neck. This needs to be done in such a manner that the loose ends and the fold will hang down evenly in the front. Now bring forth loose ends, glide them via the loops and pull tightly to secure the scarf.
