Actress too embarrassed to watch
Kate Winslet has admitted that she “wouldn’t look” at the 3D sex scenes with Leonardo DiCaprio in the re-vamped ‘Titanic’ because doesn’t want to see herself naked on the big screen.
The 36 year-old, who attended the star-studded premiere of the ‘Titanic 3D’ at the Royal Albert Hall last night in London confessed that seeing herself in naked 3D was “terrible” and would probably send her straight to the bar.
“I’m not going to look, I’ll be in the bar by that point,” she told Cover Media.
The Oscar winning actress admitted it was a “profoundly weird experience” watching the movie again 15 years after it was first released when it was awarded 11 Oscars and catapulted her and Leonardo DiCaprio to the A-list.
“It’s like saying ‘We’re going to show three and a half years of your life, live to the Albert Hall!” she told The Mirror.
The actress admitted that apart from the nude scenes she cringed at her acting too: “My American accent was bad!” she joked.
Although Leo did not make it to the premiere Kate insists that they are still close and even referred to him as her “little lovekin”.
“Leo is a very big part of my life,” she told The Mirror, “I’m very fortunate to find that friendship with the film hit it off right away.”
