Katy Perry seems to point the finger of blame at her ex-husband Russell Brand in her new movie ‘Part of Me’, after their relationship ended.
The new movie, which debuted in Sydney this weekend, shows 27-year-old Katy complaining: “I’m trying to keep my marriage alive.
“He should be (coming to see me) but he’s not.”
During her California Dreams tour, her pal said: “She should be resting. But she wants to fly to wherever Russell is to show she cares. She’s running herself ragged.”
In the movie, Katy can be seen talking after learning that her husband Russell has filed for divorce, which happened in December 2011.
“I’m a romantic, and I believe in the whole fairy tale. Love is the dream but the reality is making it work. I did everything I could – but it still failed,” she cried.
Talking on the Australian chat show, Sunday Night, Katy admitted that she’s excited about her future now and that she feels like she’s got a ‘second’ go.
“I feel like I have a second chance at a brilliant life,” she said. “There’s nothing I regret because you can’t buy a lesson and they’re so valuable.”
Katy Perry’s ‘Part Of Me’ is released on July 5.
