Britney Spears has made an effort in topping the style stakes since landing her judging role on The X Factor USA, but much to her dismay, she is now being overshadowed by a certain Kardashian.
The 31-year-old ‘Womaniser’ popstar attended a viewing party to celebrate the final four onThe X Factor at Mixology last night in West Hollywood, California, whereby she went all out in an Oriental-inspired mini dress.
Britney awkwardly posed in the black two-toned leather Christopher Kane number featuring thin straps and lace panelling on the sides to create a subtle optical illusion for a leaner physique.
The unusual dress was emblazoned with an opulent floral design and leather bustier, but Britney couldn’t quite pull off the shorter hemline as she tensed her shoulders and straightened out her legs, teaming the look with black strappy platforms and her blonde hair worn in 90s style loose waves.
We think Britters should take a leaf out of X Factor presenter Khloe Kardashian Odom’s book on how to pose in a mini dress on the red carpet, as the reality star embraced her infamous curves in a form-fitting skirt with a loose blouse.
The 28-year-old reality star overshadowed Ms Spears in the satorial stakes who looked stunning in another Oriental-themed outfit of a silk teal patterned top with an undone princess collar and skintight black mini skirt to showcase her curvaceous derriere.
Khloe looked more contemporary by adding a metallic waistbelt and studded black fetish heels as she wore her brunette tresses in a loose wavy style with a full bronzed make-up look and smoky eyes.
And the new addition to to the talent show appears to be really getting into the drama of The X Factor, tweeting yesterday: ”West Coasters! 15 minutes until the results!!!! I hope you’re tuned in!”
