The star has thanked fans for their support and says she’s had “the most exciting experiences of my life” since the birth
She’s teased us with the odd tweet but Kim Kardashian has been almost completely silence since she gave birth to baby North West.
But the Queen of reality television has finally opened up about how she’s finding life as a first time mother after giving birth last month.
The star sent a message of thanks to fans in the form of a blog post which she posted on her website on Wednesday.
She wrote: “These past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life. I’m enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family.
“I’ve been reading all of your messages and want to thank you for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment.”
Kim gave birth to baby North in June and was five weeks ahead of her due date at the time.
She has since been in hiding but has posted short messages on Twitter to wish her sister Khloe a happy birthday and to encourage fans to watch their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Khloe also took a picture of Kim taking a nap at home in the weeks after the birth and posted it online.
Kim’s mother Kris Jenner recently spoke out about the birth of her daughter’s first baby which has made the star and her rapper boyfriend Kanye West one of the most watched couples in the world.
Speaking on her chat show, Kris said: “It was actually Father’s Day weekend and I was doing live television, Good Day LA.
“I hate opening up my Blackberry after that because you never know what you are going to get. I get an email from Kim, ‘Urgent!’…
“In front of Kim’s house there are about 300 paparazzi that live outside. They are all on baby watch, because, who knows? [I go to Kim’s and] the guy takes a detour and we get to Kim’s house.
“The moment I turned the corner, they’re all freaking out. I get inside the gates, get inside, get Kim, get her ready to go. We are packing her bags and getting them all into the trunk. This is crazy.
“We finally walked over to the car and Kim slides in, blankets, blankets, blankets. Purse, purse, purse. I get in the front and go, ‘Let’s go.’”
Well, it certainly sounds like things are a bit calmer for Kim now.
