Kim Kardashian fans freaked out when her recent interview with DuJour Magazineseemed to imply that the reality star was taking leave from the series that propelled her to fame, making Keeping Up With the Kardashians‘ ninth season her last! The interview also implicated boyfriend Kanye West as the person who has pushed her towards wanting more privacy, which we’ve learned is not the case.
Kanye West Supports Kim Kardashian
A source close to Kim’s baby daddy, 35, tells HollywoodLife.com that the rapper supports his girlfriend, 32, in whatever she wants to do. “Kanye doesn’t want Kim to do nothing she doesn’t want,” our insider says. “If she wants to do her reality show, and she does, then he’s behind her and will support her.”

The friend also echoes Kim’s assertion in her blog post that she’s not quitting the show. “Look, Kim ain’t quitting the f**king show, and that’s not something Kanye would even ask her to do. That’s how she gets her…money. He ain’t gone come between her getting her paper — just like she ain’t going to ask [him] to stop rapping. That’s just stupid.”

As previously reported, Kim used her personal blog on Feb. 20 to explain that she’s be sticking around with the flagship E! series for another season, at least. “I know that many of you have read the DuJour Magazine interview I just did. In the article, I was asked about continuing on withKeeping Up with the Kardashians. As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other. I’m looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don’t know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I’m looking forward to continuing this journey.”
