Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been pictured together for the first time since she confessed to cheating on him with married film director Rupert Sanders.
Entertainment Tonight have published a still of the couple together on its website, and it’s claimed the snap was taken on Sunday night at the Ye Rustic Inn.
Onlookers say the pair were being discreet in the bar in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood.
According to reports, video footage of the couple will appear during ET bulletin on Monday night on the CBS channel.
It supports talk that the Twilight co-stars spent Saturday night together at a Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont, according to Hollywoodlife.com.
US gossip types believe the couple have secretly got back together, moved back in and aren’t going public in fear of a backlash from fans.
And if you add to this, Kristen admitting that any problems with her and Rob’s relationship is “fine”, it gets more complicated.

April 2008: Kristen and Rob “bond” during the filming of Twilight and had their first interview with MTV, mostly spent talking and laughing together.
November 2008: The rumours that Kristen and Rob are romantically involved begin to spread after a saucy photoshoot and interview with Vanity Fair. Photographer Peggy Sirota was asked by VF.com to release the full set of pictures after Twilight fans were begging to see more.
May 2009: It’s ‘the kiss that almost was’, when Kristen and Robert accepted Best Kiss trophy at the MTV Movie Awards for Twilight. They pulled off the biggest tease ever (take note, Britney and Madonna) by pretending to go in for a kiss and pulling at the very last second. Kristen turned to the audience and the cameras and said: “Thank you so much!”. Yeah, you’re welcome.
August 2009 : Nobody knew whether or not their sex was on fire but the pair were spotted cosying up to each other at a Kings Of Leon concert in Vancouver. A source of US Weekly said: “They’ve decided to be more public about going out now. They’re not boyfriend and girlfriend, but they’ve definitely hooked up.”
September 2009: OK! Magazine (US) printed the headline ‘ENGAGED!’ alongside a picture of Rob and Kristen. A source told the mag: “If Kristen is looking for Rob, she’ll say, ‘Has anyone seen my husband?”’ “And Rob loves to say, ‘Have you met my lovely wife, Kristen?’ It’s cute. They’re like a couple of love-struck teenagers.”
October 2009: It was exactly one year since lovebirds Robert and Kristen posed together for Vanity Fair but this time around Rob’s alone – and he dismissed reports that they’re an item. “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’?” he said.
November 2009: After Rob’s outburst about their relationship it was Kristen’s turn. She told Entertainment Weekly that she’s tired of people (mainly reporters) asking about her relationship. “I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” she said. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f*****g give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’”. Wow.
April 2011 : They get photographed together nearly touching noses in the midst of a kiss while celebrating the premiere of Robert’s movie Water For Elephants – but STILL there’s no official word that they’re shacking up together.
October 2011 : Finally, Kristen admits they’re together! Well, kind of. She told GQ that her “boyfriend is English”. And when the reporter pressed a bit harder for a name (all we want is a name, Kristen!), she said: “Come on, guys, it’s so obvious!”
May 2012: Kirsten attends the Cannes premiere of Robert’s film Cosmopolis, and was like a giddy schoolgirl when giving her review to MTV. “He’s so good in it!” she gushed about Pattinson’s performance. “He’s really, really [good]. I don’t even know how he [did it]. I couldn’t even understand it. It’s so good, it’s so cool, I’m so proud of him. Thank God.” Not sure why God is getting all of the credit for Rob’s hard work, though.
July 2012: Robert tells Blackbook magazine that he’s not getting married to Kristen – yet. “There was a magazine, with these pictures, saying I was getting married. No one ever knows what is true or what isn’t,” he said. “Even my own mum called to ask me if it was true. It’s not. At least, not yet.”

July 17: Kristen was said to be going out for a routine trip to the gym but ended up on a detour of LA with Rupert Sanders. The pair were seen together in a parking-lot and photos obtained by a paparazzo show the actress and film director being intimate together, with Rupert kissing Kristen “all over her body” according to US reports. They left the parking lot and continued to cuddle out in the open on a hiking trail with views over the Hollywood sign – and Kristen was seen with Robert’s baseball cap in her hand at this moment.
July 19: Rob and Kristen went to their regular hangout Hotel Café to catch some live-music together. They left as a couple and looked very much together. This would probably be the night that Rob thinks back to during any potential showdown talks.
July 22: They were in character as Edward and Bella at the Teen Choice Awards, where The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn won a surfboard (it’s an official award and not some kind of raffle prize, believe it or not). Still, we see no signs of heartbreak.
July 24: The world was shocked by the revelation that Kristen had a brief fling with the married director of her new film Snow White And The Hunstmen, sources told People (US). “Kristen is absolutely devastated,” says one source. “It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment.”
The source added: “She wasn’t having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn’t have happened,” says the source. “She never meant to hurt anyone. She’s a good person who just made a bad choice.”
July 25 : Kristen and Rupert are quick to release apologies through People (US), she tells Rob that she loves him, she loves him, she loves him etc etc etc . While Rupert tells his wife and kids that he hopes they can work things out . His wife Liberty spoke about her happy marriage before posting her last tweet “wow”, then her account was removed.
July 26 : The same US news outlet, People, report that Robert has moved out of the £4 million love nest he shared with Kristen while she was spotted leaving her gym, just eight days after the same trip led to the entire scandal. AND, despite being the poutiest star ever on the red carpet she picked this day – of all days – to crack a smile .
July 26: Sources close to Rob say he’s ‘distraught beyond belief’ and has gone into hiding having felt ‘betrayed and embarrassed’ by her public apology. But Kristen remains hopeful the couple they will save their relationship, according to reports.
July 26: A source at the New York Post said this about R-Pattz’s reaction: “Rob and Kristen were having a long and intense conversation backstage, and he looked miserable, heartbroken and humiliated. She was pleading. Rob is deeply in love with Kristen and is very jealous when other men hit on her. This will crush him.”
July 28: “Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen,” a source close to the Twilight star exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
July 29: A massive moving truck was spotted at Rob and Kristen’s house in LA . Might be a bit of a clue that it’s over then.
July 29: A source told the Sunday Mirror that R-Pattz was ready to propose before he found out about the affair.
“Robert hoped to marry Kristen and was making preparations to spring a proposal before she admitted cheating. He had bought the house in Los Angeles to be their home and saw them staying there for a long time. Now Rob is angry – he’s left the mansion and not spoken to her since. They have exchanged heated text messages only.”
July 29 : Kristen cheated for months with Rupert Sanders say his wife’s relatives, according to Sunday newspaper The People.
July 31: Film producer Giovanni Agnelli reckons that Kristen and director Rupert Sanders didn’t have a fling after all… even though she publicly apologised for it. He posted online: “I’ll say right now what the manipulative media isn’t saying… Kristen Stewart did not have any type of sex with Rupert Sanders . The spin that keeps growing on this story is staggering. There was NO on set affair. Stop printing LIES.”
July 31: Rupert was pictured for the first time since and is seen still wearing his wedding ring.
July 31: Robert is said to be ‘dreading’ the next Twilight promotional tour. “He is in pieces but the Twilight love triangle storyline is nothing without him and Kristen,” a source told Perez Hilton. “It is eating him up that he has no choice but to see her again because of work. His humiliation is total.”
Aug 1: Robert is said to be desperate to sit down and talk with Rupert’s wife Liberty to try and figure out if Kristen is telling the truth and the affair was a “momentary indiscretion” or whether it had been going on for months, as Liberty’s family believe.
Aug 1: R-Pattz’s spokesperson barks at E! Online to deny he’s cancelled promotional duties for his next film Cosmopolis: “Cospmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting. No confirmed engagements have been cancelled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.” You have every right to be scared.
Aug 1: Rumours fly about the whereabouts of the luscious Pattinson. Some say he’s staying at Water For Elephants co-star Reese Witherspoon’s holiday home in Cailfornia. Others that he’s been spotted in a trendy East London bar… perhaps he’s a creature with strange mythical powers after all (like time travel).
Aug 2: ‘Nobody will give a s***t,’ according to Twilight co-star who reckons Kristen cheating on Rob won’t cause a problem when the cast hook up in September. Christian Serratos told US Weekly: “Of course people are fans of us now, but I think above anything, they’re fans of these characters. I don’t think anyone’s really gonna give a s**t. They’re gonna see the movie; it’s going to be awesome.”
Aug 2: The promotion for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will go “full steam ahead”. President of worldwide marketing, Nancy Kirkpatrick, told Entertainment Weekly: “While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. We are confident that the film delivers amazing entertainment for our passionate fans and general audience alike.”
Aug 4: “No-one has ever betrayed me”. Rob’s world came crashing down when Kristen was photographed in a clinch with Rupert on July 17. News of the affair broke a week later. But Ironically, during Robert’s interview on July 16, he spoke of the difficulties of fame, saying the prevalence of camera phones means celebrities have to be ultra careful about their behaviour in public. He said: “I wish this (Twilight) had happened 12 years ago, before camera phones and website TMZ. Then it would have been amazing. Being a successful actor… if you just had the good side of fame it would have been unbelievable. Now actors are the most conservative people in the world because you can’t do anything. Literally… you can’t do anything at all. You can’t trust anyone because it all becomes part of your career.”
Aug 5: Is there ANOTHER-another man? Rob is now accusing Kristen of cheating on him with a second bloke, producer Giovanni Agnelli, according to US website Radar Online. A source told the gossip website: “Rob knows Agnelli and has been calling him a lot since Kristen has been there,” an insider said. “He wants to know why Kristen is staying there at his house?” the source continued. “He is super angry now and has accused Giovanni of sleeping with Kristen too.”
Aug 6: R-Pattz returns! Rob goes cowboy dancing with friends on first night out since Kristen Stewart cheated on him. He went out to the Deer Lounge with friends and an employee at the establishment told Radar Online : “I’ve been told by several people that Robert Pattinson was here enjoying the music with his friends. “He seemed in good spirits. I wasn’t on that night so I didn’t personally see him, but several others did.” The Deer Lodge has been a popular entertainment venue since 1932, and offers live music, dancing, restaurant and, according to its website, plenty of ‘warm cowgirl hospitality.’
Aug 6: Despite the fact Rupert has been pictured wearing his wedding ring he STILL hasn’t seen his wife, Liberty Ross, since details of his infidelities became world knowledge. US magazine People reported: “They seemed like a perfectly happy family. This was devastating for her. She’s been focused just on her kids through this,” the source says. “It’s what she cares about the most.” However, the shock of the scandal is apparently fading. “Now she’s really feeling strong and looks forward to resuming her life,” the source says. But that doesn’t mean a reconciliation is in the works, according to the showbiz mag.
Aug 7: Woah, everyone’s out and about! Kristen was spotted working out at Gold’s Gym with her personal trainer while Liberty Ross was seen with with her two children. Rupert wasn’t with his wife but was photographed jogging – still wearing his wedding ring. And so it continues…
Aug 7: Finally, we have actual dates for when R-Pattz will be making his first public appearance. It’s been two weeks since he properly went into hiding but a representative for new movie Cosmopolis confirmed that the actor will be in front of the media three times next week. On Monday (13th), Rob will attend the premiere and red-carpet in Manhattan, on Tuesday (14th) he joins director for a press event before the main event…. a LIVE TV interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday (15th).
Aug 7: We have a visual on Liberty Ross who’s surfaced without her wedding ring looking chic wearing a navy suit in L.A. While neither Liberty or Rupert have officially filed for divorce she appears to be sending a loud and clear message about the status of their relationship.
Aug 8: Liberty met up with her cheating husband Rupert at an office building in Beverly Hills today, before being whisked away to a fancy lunch with a mystery man. In contrast, love-rat Rupert was sat on a step eating a takeaway sandwich. Before they parted ways, an older man ushered the mother-of-two into the waiting vehicle, he turned to look at the English director with a look of utter revulsion on his face. It’s believed he may even be her lawyer. After lunch, Liberty was seen cuddling up to the mystery man – smiles all around.
Aug 8: Pictures emerge of Kristen appearing to show the strain of the split by having a hysterical breakdown. The public outburst stunned on-lookers as Kristen had to calm herself before driving away.
Aug 8: According to reports in the US, Kristen is planning a reunion with Rob BEFORE they are forced to meet for Twilight promo. She hopes to rendezvous and reunite with him next week on the Isle of Wight. A source told PerezHilton.com: “Kristen thinks that if anywhere will remind Rob of what they had together, it’s there. They’ve shared happy times on the island and even talked at one point about how it’d be their ideal wedding destination.”
Aug 8: Robert Pattinson will speak to Stewart! Oh, we mean Jon Stewart the US telly chap – not Kristen. It’s going to be on Monday 13th August, ahead of his turn out for Good Morning America on the 15th. Expect some good gossip and some follow up news at the second interview.
Aug 9: Kristen Stewart has reportedly pulled out of the London premiere of her new movie ‘On The Road’ because she is too embarrassed to appear in public in the wake of her cheating scandal.
Aug 9: Liberty Ross looks radiant wearing a white vest and a crucifix for her meeting with a divorce lawyer. But TMZ report that a divorce isn’t the end goal and in face she’s taking Rupert to a family therapist to fix their marriage.
Aug 10: Another interview with Kristen Stewart and R-Pattz has emerged that makes for uncomfortable reading post-affair. They gave a joint interview to US publication Entertainment Weekly back in July, which was around the same time she was nuzzling up to Rupert in a fashion that was definitely over-friendly. Kristen said: “I don’t like people like that,” she said. “People who are a complete non-person but somehow through the lens seem like they are ‘on’ and interesting and engaged. “I care way more about the people standing in the room. I don’t want anyone leaving and saying, ‘God, that girl is so fake’.”
Aug 14: In his first interview since girlfriend Kristen Stewart admitted cheating on him, R-Pattz managed not to cry. In terms of gossip rumors not matching reality. You start having a total disassociation.”
Aug 15: Is this Robert’s new girlfriend? R-Pattz spotted on a date with mystery women in private members club but the pair weren’t spotted together.
Aug 15: Reports that Kristen has been dropped from the next Snow White film surface, which should only serve to add to her misery.
Aug 17: Kristen pulls out of presenting the MTV Video Music Awards in September. She was due to host alongside R-Pattz, so that could have got kinda awkward. She plans to head to the Toronto International Film Festival to promote her movie On The Road instead.
Aug 17: Kristen’s no-show on the red carpet at the London premiere of On the Road, leaves her co-stars to fend off questions about her cheating. Her co-star in the film Rob Sturridge gets pretty angry over being quizzed about his pal R-Pattz and snaps at reporters.
Aug 19: Kristen is living on a diet of Red Bull and cigarettes according to a source at Showbizspy.com. The insider said: “She’s been hiding out at the Los Angeles home of a producer friend and is looking pale and worn-out. Whenever anyone tries to push her to eat even a small bowl of soup, she either claims that she’s just had something, which isn’t true, or that she’s nauseous and there’s no chance of keeping anything down. Kristen is grief-stricken and has hit rock-bottom. In many ways, Kristen living off cigs and Red Bull is a way of punishing herself.”

Aug 23: R-Pattz jokes about being homeless by telling Jimmy Kimmel: “I’m living in a trash can”. He also reveals plans to reunite with Kristen for the Twilight premiere in November, telling mates that he’s going to walk down the red carpet with her to save her embarrassment.

Sept 11: According to a few spies at the Toronto Film Festival, Kristen was spotted chatting to hunk James Franco. A mole told a number of US gossip sites that Kristen was giggling and flirting the whole time. A source told Radar Online: “At the end of their chance meeting, Franco took Stewart’s number and asked her out for dinner. Kristen initially said no, but is mulling over the idea. James definitely wants to see Kristen again, and there’s nothing better for a heartbroken girl than to be admired by a handsome man.”

Kristen poured her heart out to Robert and told him it was a one-off and a mistake.” The insider added: “Rob sees it as Kristen made a really stupid mistake.
