It sounds like M.I.A. is just that missing in action from her 3-year-old son’s life!
It’s not a great time to be M.I.A. The rapper — who made national headlines when she gave the middle finger during her Super Bowl halftime performance — has split from longtime fiancé Benjamin Bronfman, reports Gatecrasher, adding that she also “sometimes goes six weeks without seeing” their son, 3-year-old Ikhyd Edgar Arular Bronfman.
The source says the couple is basically living separate lives. M.I.A., 36, spends the majority of her time in London, while Benjamin, 29, and Ikhyd are in New York City. Fortunately, the source adds, Benjamin’s mom Sherry Bronfman is helping him take care of Ikhyd.
