Snoop Dogg has finally debuted new music under his Snoop Lion alias with reggae track ‘La La La’.
The video sees Snoop Lion interact with children and talk about his name change and ask them which name they prefer.He then proceeds to dress up as a lion in the setting of a jungle as the children follow him around in their own wild animal costumes.
Snoop recently explained his reincarnation as a reggae artitst, explaining that he wants to “glamourise” the genre.
“I’ll always be Snoop Dogg, because that’s who I am. Snoop Lion is just what I’m called while I’m making reggae music.”
It seems Snoop is looking in all different directions for new music ideas as he recently revealed that he would like to work with Cheryl Cole.
According to the Daily Star he explained that he is already in talks with Cheryl’s manager Will.I.Am, he said: ”I have already talked with him about collaborating with her on her next album and I am down with it.
“Hip-hop sells in America and that is the direction her manager will.i.am wants to take her. I have already talked with him about collaborating with her on her next album and I am down with it.”
Hinting that the Girls Aloud star could also be working with Eminem, he added: “[Will.I.Am’s] got some big names planned for her and is talking with Eminem as well.”
