The ‘Diamonds’ star insists she’s more of a homebody.
Rihanna is often spotted exiting night clubs in the early hours, twerking with her friends or partying with pals like Cara Delevingne but the ‘What Now’ singer insists that she’s not a party animal claiming to be very laid back.
The 25-year-old has built up a huge reputation over the years for her wild antics which include reports of getting drunk and even allegations of smoking marijuana but according to Rihanna, the media portrayal couldn’t be further from the truth.
“I think they think I’m drunk all the time. I think they think I am always partying, that my house is probably a party all the time with tons of people and tons of music and no clothes. I think that’s what they think,” RiRi said according to USA Today.
So when she’s not making club appearances, what does RiRi get up to in her spare time? “I’m actually very laid back. I love watching TV on a big old couch by myself. I love to swim in the ocean or the pool.”
The Bajan beauty is certainly justified in letting her hair down every once in a while as her hard work has paid off with the singer winning a Grammy award this weekend for Best Urban Contemporary Album for ‘Unapologetic’ which RiRi admits was a “shock.”
“I was at home and one of my friends hit me and said, ‘You just won a Grammy,’ and I was like, ‘What?’” she said during an appearance on Good Morning America yesterday.
“And when I went on the Internet I just saw Unapologetic! It was quite an emotional moment surprisingly, but I was in shock. I’m excited. It was a good feeling to still be that excited at this point in my career.”
