Bruce and Ronda were seen out on a ‘date’ this month!
Kris Jenner has finally spoken out about the claims that her estranged husband Bruce Jenner is dating her best friend, Ronda Kamihira, explaining that she’s not aware whom he is involved in romantically and simply just wants the former track star to be “happy” in the new chapter of his life.
After 22 years of marriage, Kris started legal proceedings to end her troubled marriage to Olympian Bruce, 64, and while their dating lives seemed to have been virtually non-existent during the year they were separated, Bruce fuelled speculation that he has found a new love interest when he was spotted on what very much looked like a double date at Elton John’s Los Angeles concert on October 4, with son Brandon Jenner and his wife Leah, and a mystery brunette who coincidentally resembled his estranged wife and, in actual fact, turned out to be a close friend of Kris’.
Well, it seems that Kris couldn’t be happier for her ex hubby, telling the Today show: [I don’t] care who he goes out with. I just want him to be happy. I don’t know who he’s dating. He doesn’t like check in with me and give me a play by play, but it’s his life, and you just want the guy to be happy. You know, he’s still the father of two of my children. We’re friends.
Now, TMZ reports that despite the fact she got the ball rolling on their divorce, Kris is allegedly distraught that Bruce has moved on his dating life so quickly and has been “crying every night” since the photos of the date night emerged. The source claims that Kris feels “betrayed” by Ronda who has reportedly not mentioned anything about the possibility she could be dating Bruce, leaving the Kardashian matriarch feeling “humiliated and played.”
While mother-of-six Kris isn’t bothered about the actual relationship, the source claimed she feels that it is “appalling” they are allegedly together given the fact that Ronda and her children, who are friends with Kendall and Kylie Jenner, were close with the family and even went on holidays with them. The source adds that Kris is “torn apart and angry
Another insider backed up these claims, revealing that Kris was shocked to find out the news, telling People: “Kris is devastated. This was her former assistant and best friend of 20 years. Kendall and Kylie grew up with her two kids and have been their best friends. She’s so sad and completely heartbroken.”
Kris opened up about the divorce to E!’s Giuliana Rancic earlier this month and admitted she feels as though she has “failed” on the marriage she thought would last forever, explaining: “I signed up at the time for happily ever after and it didn’t work out that way. It makes me really sad. I feel like I failed at something because I wanted it to be that relationship for the rest of my life. When I realised it wasn’t then that’s when you realise you want the next best thing and that’s an amazing friendship.”
