This year’s Oscar ceremony includes A-list presenters like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway and more.
The ceremony, which will be hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, takes place on Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It is televised LIVE on the ABC Network in the United States, as well as in more than 225 countries worldwide.

Amy Adams – The “American Hustle” actress is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at this year’s ceremony for her performance in the film. This marks Adams’ fifth Oscar nomination.
Andrew Garfield – “The Amazing Spider-Man” star has not been nominated for an Oscar, but he did receive a Golden Globe nod for his performance in “The Social Network.” Garfield will reprise his role as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which hits theaters on May 2.
Angelina Jolie – The actress won an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in the 1999 film “Girl Interrupted.” Jolie also received an Oscar nomination for her role in the 2008 film “Changeling.” In November, the actress received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, a special Oscar to honor her humanitarian work. She will next appear in the film “Maleficent,” which is set to hit theaters on May 30.
Anna Kendrick – Kendrick was nominated for an Oscar in 2010 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in “Up in the Air.” She will appear in the big screen adaptation of “Into the Woods” as Cinderella when the film hits theaters on Dec. 25. It was announced earlier this month that she will reprise her role as Beca in “Pitch Perfect 2.”
Anne Hathaway – The actress won an Oscar last year for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Fantine in “Les Miserables.” She co-hosted the 2011 Oscar ceremony with James Franco. Hathaway was also nominated for an Oscar in 2009 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in “Rachel Getting Married.” She will next lend her voice to the CGI animated film “Rio 2,” due out on April 11.
Benedict Cumberbatch – Although not nominated, the actor appeared in four Oscar-nominated films including “12 Years A Slave,” “August: Osage County,” “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” and “Star Trek Into Darkness.” He is likely best known for starring as Sherlock Holmes in the TV series “Sherlock,” which wrapped up its third season in January. Cumberbatch once again lends his voice for the role of Smaug in the “The Hobbit: There and Back Again.”
Bill Murray – The actor was nominated for an Oscar in 2004 for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in “Lost in Translation.” He will next appear in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” which will be released on March 7.
Brad Pitt – The actor is nominated as a producer of “12 Years a Slave,” which received 9 Oscar nominations including Best Picture. Pitt had a role in the movie. He has been nominated for a total of five Oscars, including three nods for his acting in films like “Moneyball,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and “Twelve Monkeys.”
Bradley Cooper – The “American Hustle” star is nominated this year for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in the film. Cooper was also nominated last year for his performance in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Cooper lends his voice to Rocket Raccoon in the upcoming Marvel film “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which is set for release on Aug. 1.
Channing Tatum – The “Magic Mike” star has never been nominated for an Oscar. He recently voiced Superman in “The Lego Movie” and will next appear on screen in “22 Jump Street.”
Charlize Theron – The actress won an Oscar in 2004 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in “Monster.” She was also nominated in 2006 for her role in “North Country.” Theron will next appear in the Seth MacFarlane comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”
Chris Hemsworth – The “Thor” star has never been nominated for an Oscar. He will next appear on screen in the 2015 film “Cyber.”
Christoph Waltz – The actor is a two-time Oscar winner. He won Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role last year for his performance in “Django Unchained.” He also won an Oscar in 2010 for his performance in “Inglourious Basterds.” Waltz has a role in the upcoming film “Muppets Most Wanted.”
Daniel Day-Lewis – The actor has won three Oscars, including his win last year for his performance in “Lincoln.” Day-Lewis has been nominated a total of five times.
Emma Watson – The former “Harry Potter” franchise star has never been nominated for an Oscar. She will next appear in Darren Aronofsky’s “Noah” alongside Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Anthony Hopkins.
Ewan McGregor – While the actor has never been nominated for an Oscar, he did appear in “August: Osage County” with Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep. Both actresses were nominated for their roles in the film. McGregor will next appear in the film “Jane Got a Gun.”
Gabourey Sidibe – The “American Horror Story: Coven” actress was nominated for an Oscar in 2010 for her leading performance in the drama film “Precious.”
Glenn Close – Close has been nominated for six Oscars. She has received nominations for her roles in films like “Albert Nobbs,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Fatal Attraction,” “The Natural,” “The Big Chill” and “The World According to Garp.”
Goldie Hawn – The actress won an Oscar in 1969 for her supporting role in the film “Cactus Flower.” She was also nominated for her lead role in the comedy “Private Benjamin.”
Harrison Ford – The actor was nominated for an Oscar in 1986 for his role in “Witness.” He recently appeared in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.”
Jamie Foxx – Foxx won an Oscar in 2005 for his leading role in “Ray.” He was also nominated the same year for his supporting role in “Collateral.”
Jason Sudeikis – The comedian has never been nominated for an Oscar. He will next appear in the film “Horrible Bosses 2.”
Jennifer Garner – Although she has never been nominated for an Oscar, Garner had a role in the Oscar nominated film “Dallas Buyers Club.” Her co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto are nominated for their roles in the film.
Jennifer Lawrence – The actress is nominated for an Oscar this year for her supporting role in “American Hustle.” She won an Oscar last year for her lead role in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Lawrence scored her first Oscar nomination in 2011 for her performance in “Winter’s Bone.”
Jessica Biel – The actress has never been nominated for an Oscar. Biel has a role in the upcoming film “Shiva and May.”
Jim Carrey – The actor has never been nominated for an Oscar. Carrey will next appear alongside Jeff Daniels in the sequel “Dumb and Dumber To,” which is set to hit theaters on Nov. 14.
John Travolta – The actor has been nominated for two Oscars. Travolta scored a nomination in 1995 for his performance in “Pulp Fiction.” He was also nominated in 1978 for his role in “Saturday Night Fever.” Travolta will next appear in the film “The Forger.”
Joseph Gordon-Levitt – He has never been nominated for an Oscar. Gordon-Levitt, who recently directed his first film, “Don Jon,” will next appear in the “Sin City” sequel “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.”
Kate Hudson – The actress was nominated for an Oscar in 2001 for her supporting role in the film “Almost Famous.” She will next appear in the Zach Braff film “Wish I Was Here.”
Kerry Washington – The “Scandal” star has never been nominated for an Oscar. She recently received a Golden Globe nomination for her role on “Scandal.”
Kevin Spacey – The actor is a two-time Oscar winner. Spacey won his first Oscar in 1996 for his role in “The Usual Suspects.” He received his second Oscar for his role in “American Beauty.” Spacey recently reprised his role as Frank Underwood on the second season of “House of Cards” and the actor will next appear in the film “Horrible Bosses 2.”
Kim Novak – The “Vertigo” star has never been nominated for an Oscar.
Kristen Bell – The actress has never been nominated for an Oscar, but she does voice the character Anna in the Oscar-nominated film “Frozen.” Bell currently appears on the television series “House of Lies” and she reprises her role as Veronica Mars in the “Veronica Mars” movie.
Matthew McConaughey – The actor received his first Oscar nomination this year for his performance in “Dallas Buyers Club.” He told us in a recent interview about his nomination, “I’m just enjoying being really present. Head high, heart high and enjoying this.”
Michael B. Jordan – The actor has never been nominated for an Oscar. It was recently announced thatJordan will play Johnny Storm / The Human Torch in the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot.
Naomi Watts – The actress has been nominated for two Oscars. She received her first nomination in 2004 for “21 Grams.” Watts was nominated again in 2013 for her role in “The Impossible.” She will next appear in the film “St. Vincent De Van Nuys” with Bill Murray.
Penelope Cruz – The actress won an Oscar in 2009 for her performance in “Vicky Cristina Barcelona.” Cruz has been nominated a total of three times and she received nods for her roles in “Volver” and “Nine.”
Robert De Niro – The actor is a two-time Oscar winner and has been nominated a total of seven times. He received the award for his roles in “Raging Bull” and for his performance in “The Godfather: Part II.” De Niro received a nomination last year for his performance in “Silver Linings Playbook” and was also nominated for his roles in “Cape Fear,” “Awakenings,” “The Deer Hunter” and “Taxi Driver.”
Sally Field – The actress has won two Oscars. She won her first award for her performance in the 1979 film “Norma Rae.” Field won her second Oscar in 1985 for her performance in “Places in the Heart.” It was during her second win that she gave her infamous “You like me” Oscar speech.
Samuel L. Jackson – The actor received an Oscar nomination in 1995 for his role in “Pulp Fiction.” He recently appeared in the “RoboCop” remake and will reprise his role as Nick Fury in the upcoming film “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”
Sidney Poitier – The legendary actor won an Oscar in 1964 for his performance in “Lilies of the Field.” He was later honored with an honorary Oscar in 2002. Poitier was also nominated for his performance in the 1958 film “The Defiant Ones.”
Tyler Perry – The actor, director and writer has never won an Oscar. Perry will next appear in the film “The Single Moms Club,” which he wrote and directed.
Viola Davis – The actress is a two-time Oscar nominee. She received her first Oscar nod in 2009 for her performance in “Doubt.” She was also nominated for her role in the 2011 film “The Help.” Davis recently appeared in “Ender’s Game” and “Prisoners.”
Whoopi Goldberg – The actress and current co-host on “The View” won an Oscar in 1991 for her supporting role in “Ghost.” She was also nominated for an Oscar in 1986 for her role in “The Color Purple.”
Will Smith – The rapper and actor has been nominated for two Oscars. Smith received his first nomination in 2002 for his performance in “Ali” as legendary boxer Muhammad Ali. He was also nominated in 2007 for his performance in “The Pursuit of Happyness,” which starred his son, Jaden.
Zac Efron – The actor has never been nominated for an Oscar. He recently appeared in the film “That Awkward Moment” with Michael B. Jordan. Efron has a role in the upcoming comedy “Neighbors” with Seth Rogen.
