Sinopec oil pipeline blast in east China kills 22: Xinhua

(Reuters) – An explosion at a Sinopec Corp oil pipeline early on Friday killed 22 people in east China’s Qingdao city, state media reported.

Sinopec on its microblog said the explosion was caused by a leak in the Huangwei oil pipeline and fire was put out at 1 pm local time, adding that the cause of the accident is under investigation.
