Following Tupac at Coachella festival
Michael Jackson (the
hologram of course) could be set to tour alongside his brothers in the Jackson 5, according to reports.
Following Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s Tupac hologram at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival
it seems that Michael Jackson could be next.
His brother Jackie told The Sun that he would love to see
Jackson resurrected as a hologram: “It could have been Michael – absolutely. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
As a matter
of fact, we had that idea two years ago for Michael’s Cirque du Soleil show.”
A source also told the tabloid that any
such tour could be “the most lucrative of all time”.
The source said: “As always with Michael’s estate and creating
new art with his image, there will be a lot of politics to navigate. But we’ve all seen how well it can be done now. It
could be the most lucrative world tour of all time.”
Last November, his physician Dr Conrad Murray was convicted of
his involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison following Michael Jackson’s death in June 2009.
